Kriekenwijn

When the sour cherries were at their ripest this summer, our pugs decided there was more to be done with them than cider alone. That is how our Kriekenwijn came about: a deep, ruby-red fruit wine in which fully ripe sour cherries play the lead.

Expect a generous glass full of juicy cherry, with a soft-sweet core and a crisp, tart note that keeps everything nicely balanced. Round, fruity and surprisingly elegant — best enjoyed at sunset, with or without pug company.
